Pledge one hour’s pay to raise money to build a new Teenage Oncology Ward at the QMC

Every day six young people are diagnosed with cancer.

Karnival, the student fundraising organisation at The University of Nottingham, has joined forces with Capital FM and the Help a Capital Child campaign to raise money to build a new Teenage Oncology Ward at the QMC.

The campaign is asking everybody in Nottinghamshire to donate one hour’s pay this autumn.

National Local Government Pay Award

The trade unions and employers have recently reached agreement on the national local Government Pay Award.

The agreement includes a one off lump sum payment and a 2.2% pay increase for all eligible employees.
