Portable Appliance Testing at County HallFTP Electrical are currently on site to carry out portable appliance testing on all items with a plug.  Can you please ensure that you make items available to be tested, especially if you have electrical equipment in cupboards.  They will try to keep disruption to a minimum.23 July 2015
Ofsted rates our Children’s Services as GoodAs you may be aware, Ofsted recently inspected the children’s services that we provide.  Their subsequent report has been published today (20 July) and I’m pleased to say finds that our services are Good. 20 July 2015
Is your service still using an 0845 number?From Wednesday July 1, all services using an 0845 number must advertise the costs of calling the service on leaflets, forms and online or provide an alternative, low cost phone number. 17 July 2015

National Local Government Pay Award

The trade unions and employers have recently reached agreement on the national local Government Pay Award.

The agreement includes a one off lump sum payment and a 2.2% pay increase for all eligible employees.
